What type of curriculum is used?
Our school offers a unique trilingual Montessori curriculum that provides children with a comprehensive educational experience. Rooted in the Montessori philosophy, our programme emphasizes independence, self-directed learning, and respect for each child’s individual development.
In addition to Montessori principles, our curriculum integrates language learning in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, fostering linguistic proficiency through immersive experiences, interactive activities, and culturally relevant materials. Children engage in hands-on exploration of language concepts, vocabulary building, grammar, and cultural studies within a nurturing and supportive environment.
By combining Montessori methodology with trilingual primary school preparation, we aim to cultivate a love for learning, promote cognitive development, and prepare children for academic success.

To secure a booking, the registration form and documents must be completed, and the initial registration payment must be fully settled.
Do you offer trial classes?
We offer trial classes for families interested in exploring our programmes. Trial classes are mandatory for children above 18 months before enrolment, providing both children and parents a chance to experience our environment, interact with our teachers, and understand our programme offerings firsthand.
During the trial class, your child will participate in age-appropriate activities, interact with peers, and experience the supportive atmosphere we cultivate. This allows us to assess how well our school meets your child’s needs.
The paid trial classes are conducted as a half-day programme for 5 consecutive days. If you’re interested in scheduling a trial class or have any questions about our trial process, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to welcoming you and your child to our preschool community!
What forms of communication do you utilise?
Our primary mode of communication is through our dedicated school app. This app serves as a comprehensive platform where parents can receive real-time updates about their child’s daily activities, access weekly photos of their child participating in activities, and stay informed about important announcements and upcoming events.
Through the school app, we ensure efficient and direct communication between our teachers and parents, enhancing transparency and keeping families actively involved in their child’s educational journey. Additionally, we encourage parents to reach out to us through the app for any inquiries, concerns, or to schedule meetings with the teachers.
We believe that effective communication is essential in creating a supportive partnership between our school and families, and our school app facilitates this connection seamlessly.
What are your illness policies?
Here are the key aspects of our illness policy:
- Exclusion Criteria: Children showing symptoms of contagious illnesses such as fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, rash, persistent cough, or symptoms suggestive of communicable diseases will not be permitted to return until they are symptom-free.
- Return Criteria: Children must meet specific criteria, such as being symptom-free without medication for at least 24 hours, before returning to the school after illness.
- Communication: Parents are promptly notified if their child exhibits symptoms of illness while at school. We encourage open communication about any health concerns or recent illnesses affecting their child.
- Hygiene Practices: We emphasize and enforce rigorous hygiene practices, including frequent handwashing, sanitization of toys and surfaces, and proper disposal of tissues and diapers to minimize the spread of illnesses.
- Health Assessments: Our teachers are trained to monitor children for signs of illness throughout the day and to conduct health assessments especially during the peak of any communicable disease.
- Medical Clearance: In cases where a child has been diagnosed with a communicable disease, medical clearance is required before the child can return to school.
Our strict illness policy is designed to maintain a healthy environment for all children and staff members. By adhering to these guidelines, we aim to prevent the spread of illnesses and promote a safe and nurturing environment.
Do you offer field trips?
Yes, we offer field trips twice a year for the children in the IC and Casa classes. These excursions are carefully planned to provide enriching and educational experiences that complement our curriculum. Each trip is designed to be both fun and informative, offering children the opportunity to explore new environments, learn about different subjects, and engage in hands-on activities outside the classroom.
Parents will receive detailed information about each field trip well in advance, including the destination, objectives, and any specific requirements or preparations needed. We also ensure that all safety protocols are strictly followed during these trips, including adequate supervision and transportation arrangements.
Do you allow parents to enter the classroom?
For the well-being of our children and to help manage separation anxiety, we do not allow parents to enter the classroom during regular hours. This policy helps children adjust to the school environment and develop independence and confidence in a consistent routine.
However, we highly value parent involvement and encourage parents to participate in scheduled events, parent-teacher meetings, and special activities where appropriate. We also welcome parents to visit our school and meet with teachers outside of classroom hours to discuss their child’s progress and any concerns they may have.
What are your security measures in the school?
We are committed to maintaining a very safe environment for the teachers and children. Here are the key security measures we have in place:
- Secured and Monitored Exits: All exits are secured with magnetic doors that require authorized access to open. These doors are monitored to prevent unauthorized entry or exit.
- Authorized Guardians: Parents are required to provide us with full details of authorized guardians. We will only release a child to the parents and an authorized guardian only.
- Additional Security Measures: We have a comprehensive CCTV monitoring system in place for internal use.
- Fire drills: Our teachers are trained in emergency procedures and regularly conduct drills to ensure readiness in case of any incidents.
These measures are designed to ensure the highest level of safety and security for everyone in our school.
What comes next for our child after their time in preschool?
After graduating from our preschool, our graduates typically move on to various local primary schools. These include public schools in the area (SK or SJKC), private and international schools, depending on the family’s preferences and educational goals. We work closely with families to help them find the best fit for their child’s continued education journey. We have a strong track record of our graduates adapting well to their new primary school journey, due to the preparation they received during their preschool years with us.
How important is family involvement in the programme?
Family involvement is a cornerstone of our programme, making a big difference in your child’s experience and success. We love seeing parents actively participate and believe it creates a supportive and enriched environment for our children.
We host a variety of fun and engaging events throughout the year, such as our annual sports day, concert, friendly competitions, and open houses. These occasions are perfect for building relationships with your child’s teachers and connecting with other parents. We are incredibly proud of the warm and friendly community we have cultivated here in Babies & Casa and look forward to having you as an active part of it!
